Bandra Loft
Renovation · Mumbai · 2026
An ageing Bandra apartment with great bones and a tired interior — boxy rooms, dated finishes and storage in all the wrong places. The owners wanted it opened up and calmed down: fewer walls, fewer colours, more air.
The renovation stripped the space back to a warm neutral shell. Limewashed walls, a low-slung modular sofa, and a sculptural stone coffee table now hold the room, while concealed storage along the service wall absorbs everything that used to sit out in the open.
Sheer drapery filters the western light, and a restrained material palette — plaster, oak, travertine — lets the proportions of the loft do the impressing.
